The wolffepack® backpack lets you swing the pack from its normal position on your back swiftly round to your front in one simple and secure action. And then back again. All without moving the shoulder straps. So getting quick and frequent access to your bag is easy, wherever you are or whatever you're doing, from commuting to walking to cycling to skiing.

You can clip the pack to your front in crowded spaces - no more bumping into people on packed trains or buses - and keep your kit safe and in sight. You can even sit comfortably with the wolffepack® still on, making travelling easier whether in a carriage or on a ski-lift.

This ingenious invention is the brainchild of British inventor and engineer, David Wolffe , who quit his corporate career as a Finance Director to develop the wolffepack® backpack. The company has working prototypes, pre-production samples and manufacturing partners in place, with the first production run scheduled for January 2015 . Just launched on Kickstarter - rstl.es/10lUw7s - , wolffepack® aims to raise £30,000 to fund this first production run.

Thewolffepack uses the world's first orbital trapeze technology in a backpack - the patent-pending expetoSYSTEM (from the Latin 'I reach'). This has been developed by wolffepack® engineers to provide convenience, comfort and security in an extraordinary way.

The revolutionary design connects the bag to the straps on your shoulders with super strong cords, made from Dyneema and able to pull a load of over 300kg. These cords can be released to allow the pack to separate from the straps and then revolve around the body from back to front. Inspired by technology in the world of yachting and mountaineering, it includes a totally new rope locking and releasing system to enable the user to move the bag where and when they choose. This is wrapped together with custom ergonomics and leading edge backpack design to deliver a great user experience.

The capacity of the wolffepack® Metro is approximately 22 litres and the Escape is approximately 18 litres. The wolffepack® is designed and invented by David Wolffe , previously Group Finance Director of HMV Group, who studied Engineering at the University of Cambridge . David has been joined by a team of experienced bag designers and design engineers.
