New international resounding success achieved by WINDFORM 3D Printed masks Collagene, manufactured by CRP Technology and designed by Mhox: displayed at the third edition of furniPRO Asia, the biennial regional trade exhibition for the woodworking, furniture and panel production industries that has recently taken place at the Singapore Expo Convention Centre, the WINDFORM 3D printed masks have been admired by a high number of visitors, included Singapore Minister of Trade and Industry, Lim Hng Kian.
WINDFORM materials have been on stage inside the exposition “Innovation of Interior”, one of the furniPRO Asia 2016’s key highlights.
Innovation of Interior is a special future-oriented exhibition showcase premiering out of interzum Cologne. It is a showcase for architects, interior designers with a unique, future-oriented range of products, to showcase innovative ideas and design options. Curated by renowned materials expert Dr. Sascha Peters, the special showcase highlighted the potential of 3D printing for furniture designers and other planners, bringing them delight for the mind and an inspiration for creativity.
.
The masks are made with WINDFORM LX 2.0 and WINDFORM GT that have past skin contact tests. Free-form design, custom-made solutions and the ability to build tailor-made face masks can be obtained by using the combination of additive manufacturing and WINDFORM materials.
The masks are meaningful examples of Windform application’s last frontiers: applications that were considered to be impossible to realize, they have become possible thanks to Windform additive manufacturing. WINDFORM materials can be applied from Space to aesthetical and functional parts, they have no limits of use and express the maximum performance that can be achieved with high level 3D printing technology.
