Ramora UK introduces 24/7 Emergency Response Control Room

Ramora UK, the UK's leading Bomb Disposal company, introduces its Emergency Response Control Room facility, following its successful establishment in December 2012 further to a company relocation to new headquarters in Fareham.
Responsible for the coordination, communication and control of Company operations, the Control Room provides the flexibility to monitor our reactive support teams, accounting for personnel and vehicle whereabouts. As the first point of contact for emergency situations, the facility allows for re-deployment to subsequent tasks, thereby promoting an ever responsive, professional service to all existing and prospective clients.
Boasting state-of-the-art digital equipment and a host of flat screen monitors, the centre is manned by a team of operatives, with a wealth of experience in both running and coordinating Military and Emergency Service Operations Rooms, working on a rota system with dedicated 24/7 phone line and email monitoring. The Control Room currently coordinates and deploys reactive teams to the scene of an incident where our wide range of specialist services is required. The available services include UXO removal and disposal, Time Expired Pyrotechnic (TEP) collections, Dog Teams, WICS Search, High Risk Search and Dive Teams.
The establishment of the Control Room facility ensures that Ramora UK can continue to provide Military and Emergency Service comparable support 24 hours a day. Utilising former Military and Police specialists, Ramora UK can provide a specialist response in support of the most challenging situations in a prompt and professional manner.
Since establishing the Control Room concept for the delivery of specialist services, Ramora UK has deployed teams in support of Police forces, Fire and Rescue Services, HM Coastguard, oil and gas companies, aggregate yards and a range of other clients at short notice to great effect, thus, ensuring the prompt resolution of many challenging incidents.
