Having taken the UK by storm over the past few years with his stunning photography of horses captured within his mobile studio, the World is now opening up for this Scottish based photographer. With exhibitions throughout the UK, featured on BBC TV, work auctioned at Sotheby's New York and magazine articles in Australia, Singapore and the USA. His recent exhibition in America has propelled his appreciation not only into the art market, but also into the hearts of adoring horse owners

Lindsay commented " Extending my services to the USA is providing some amazing opportunities, not only for me but for the many contacts and clients that are seeing that my images are 'like nothing before seen'. A few years ago I was given the opportunity to exhibit my landscape photography alongside the works of the iconic photographer Ansel Adams, in my home city of Edinburgh, Scotland.  That was a profound honour and an absolute pinnacle moment of my career. However, the reaction that I get from clients when they witness the final image of their horse for the first time, beats that honour hands down. The personal reaction is what it is all about for me, that emotional initial reaction is what rewards, drives and fuels my creativity. Photographing horses is the hardest subject I have ever engaged in, but I love the challenge and the process of rising to that challenge of capturing an image of such an amazing flight animal."

After 25 years in advertising photography, Robertson "retired" to concentrate on his passion for black and white landscape photography. Having achieved recognition by the Worlds pre-eminent Museum of Photography, The Eastman House in Rochester, New York. Who bestowed on him the privilege of being the only photographer they have invited to exhibit alongside their Ansel Adams collection. From there he developed the concept, and challenge, of studio photography of the horse. The preparation, construction of the mobile studio, and working with the powerful equine models, keeping safety of the animals foremost, was a daunting task. But after seeing what he was able to accomplish in his first test images, Robertson was delighted!

Each image is an original photograph captured within the custom-made studio set. The studio facility is fully portable, which enables setting up in large covered areas or equestrian centres anywhere in the World. The health and well being of the horse are of paramount importance in every session, as can be seen by the examples of his fine art photography at http://www.horsestudios.com

Lindsay is now available to undertake photographic commissions of your horse, anywhere in the World with his mobile studio facility.
