Milano, (informazione.it - comunicati stampa - arte e cultura) On the occasion of the Italian Republic day, on June 2nd at 6.00 p.m. on the exclusive terrace of the Pelican Cafè in Miami Beach, will take place the presentation of the 2015 edition of "Premio Eccellenza Italiana" to be held in Washington next October 17th. Brainchild of Massimo Lucidi, economics journalist, the award is structured in an Italian Commitee chaired by Santo Versace with personalities like: Giulio Terzi di Sant'Agata, Philippe Daverio, Luca Piretta, Salvatore Lauro, Salvo Iavarone and an American Committee. Each Committee represents the productive, artistic and professional world that makes unique our country and watches the Italian system with greater enthusiasm and positiveness than you breathe on the national territory.

The award enhances the concepts of italianess, excellence and uniqueness in the year of the Expo in Milan: with this spirit was born the slogan "MI.a.Mi., Milan in Miami ", which tells stories of professional excellence and Italian entrepreneurs who deserve to be known and narrated. That's way in Miami will take place the nomination of Italian companies which will then be awarded in Washington, as happened last year. The winners in 2014 were: Giuseppe Ambrosi, vice President of Grana Padano for the Industry, Detective Luciano Ponzi for Services, and Danilo Gigante of International Broker Art for Culture. The award takes advantage of sponsorship and collaboration of ASMEF, Mezzogiorno e Futuro association chaired by Salvo Iavarone this year comes with the prestigious event "Day of Emigration" to its tenth edition: this initiative supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs becomes particularly emblematic in Miami in June 2015, thanks to the resuming of maritme links after 52 years of Embargo between Cuba and the United States.

Among the nominations is the one of Joe Tacopina, advanced by GiulioTerzi di Sant'Agata who was Foreign Minister and former Italian Ambassador to Washington, an American lawyer of Italian origins which assists Chicco Forti, among others. Terzi with the Renzi's Government asks the fair review of the case, by contemplating that a judicial trap took place, since sometimes justice reserves an unfair verdict to innocent people. Dulcis in fundo the nomination that will be protagonist of 2nd June in Miami is the Caffo Group, producer of the Vecchio Amaro del Capo, which this year celebrates 100 years since the Foundation of the historic distillery. As today counts more than 4 million bottles produced representing a volume in market share of 15.9% 2014 with a trend of growth of 26.1% compared to 2013 in a market that goes back to mark a moment of stability after difficult years of contraction in consumption.
