DNA PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 8 August 2019 2:00 pm (EEST)

Finnish Government's plenary session has today decided that Telenor transaction of DNA's shares has no effect on DNA's network licences. The completion of the transaction is subject to Finland's Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment confirmation.

Norwegian telecommunications company Telenor Group announced on 9 April 2019 that it will acquire DNA's two largest owners', Finda Telecoms Oy and PHP Holding Oy's, shares of DNA Plc, in total 54% of the shares.

European Commission approved the transaction on 15 July 2019 and Finda and PHP's general meetings approved the transaction on May 2019.

Telenor expects completion of the transaction in August. After this Telenor will trigger a mandatory public tender offer for the remaining outstanding shares in DNA.

DNA's operations will continue as normal and the transaction has no impact on DNA's customers' services.
