The 10th edition of Women for Progress-Supporting the world will take place in Salento from May 25 to June 3, 2025.

This was announced by Giusy Nobile, president of the Taranto-based cultural association In Progress, organizer and exclusive holder worldwide of the event’s rights and which enjoys the moral patronage of the Ministry of Culture and the National Anti-Racial Discrimination Office of the Italian Prime Minister's Office.

“The first organizational phase,” says a beaming Giusy Nobile, ”has now been underway for about a month. Our partners abroad, representing us on the five continents, are already looking for the new Ambassadors of Progress. We look forward to introducing our territory to the new contestants who, we are sure, will once again bring us projects worthy of everyone's attention.”

In the meantime, Odalis Soza, winner of the 2023 edition, is working on “Create Your Forest,” the self-sustainable environmental project through which she won the title of Miss Progress International. She was able to reforest an area near Matagalpa, the city where she resides in Nicaragua.

The delegations, coming from five continents, will be logistically based at the magnificent Messapia Hotel & Resort in Santa Maria di Leuca. During their stay they will be involved in multiple activities that will allow them to get to know Puglia, which has been mentioned several times by National Geographic as the most beautiful region in the world.

The pageant director, Giuseppe Borrillo, announces that there will be several special guests and an outstanding cast. A list of locations that will be covered by the activities of the multi-ethnic group will be announced later.More information (in English, Italian and Spanish) on the official website www.womenforprogress.it
