One of the Oldest Independent Retailers in Nuneaton, Haswell Shoes is Bought by Local Business Man
Haswell Shoes was founded in 1947, when Albert Haswell decided to stop repairing soldier's boots following the end of WWII and set-up shop in Newdegate Street, Nuneaton . Over time Albert retired passing on the business to his son, Trevor. On his retirement he sold the business to long-time employee Karen Little . When Mrs Little was set to retire at the end of January 2015 , this highly regarded local business was set to close its doors for the final time.
However, Mr Gardner stepped in and acquired the business, ensuring it continued to serve Nuneaton and the local area for the foreseeable future.

"I am delighted to be able to ensure this business will continue offering the fantastic customer service, expert fitting service and unique products it has become renowned for."
Haswell Shoes has the most experienced, professional shoe-fitters in the area and maintain traditional methods of measuring adult and children's feet, to ensure the shoes they sell fit perfectly for each and every individual, young or old.
Many of the shoes on offer at Haswell Shoes are not available anywhere else in the area and include famous brands such as Loake, Van Dal, Ara and Rohde. Furthermore, they sell Clarks and Start-rite for children.
In addition to this, Haswell Shoes experienced staff are specialist shoe-fitters for elderly and individuals requiring wide fitting shoes. Their unique offering include B-Easy wide fitting shoes which combine comfort and style for people with individual orthopaedic needs.
