Participants will include Marlborough Gallery, Galerie Lelong, Andipa Gallery, Opera Gallery, Galeria Javier Lopez, Michael Schultz, Dirimart, Galerist, Galeri Mana, Galeri Nev, Pi Artworks, Rampa.

A fresh and exciting addition to the fair is Plug-In New Media section, will be dedicated to video art and new media. It will bring a fresh perspective on new media art, embracing video art, sound and light installations, interactive design, indoor mapping projects and robotic designs in the adjacent 1.000 m2 area as a part of the fair.

CI Dialogues the fair's talk programme will be themed around new technologies, new media and art and will examine questions including how and in which ways do new technologies influence the production of art.

New Horizons, a section of Contemporary Istanbul which offers an annual focus of contemporary art from a selected geographic region will this year put a spotlight on Russia. Participating galleries including Al Gallery, pop/off/art, Marina Gisich, Anna Nova, Art re.Flex gallery, Galerie Blue Square, Galerie Iragui will present works.

DIYALOG: Art from Vienna will showcase works by leading contemporary artists living in Vienna, including artists Jakob Lena Knebl, Brigitte Kowanz, Hans Scheirl, Constantin Luser, Gabriele Edlbauer, Rudolf Polanzsky, Rita Nowak. Sponsored by OMV Group, the special project sponsor of CI, the selection is made by a pool of ten curators.

Hermann Nitsch, one of the founders of Vienna Actionism will exhibit his 66th Painting Performance, "Malakt" in the adjacent 500 m2 area throughout the fair.

Newly launched in July 2013 is Bodrum Contemporary Art Campus (BCAC), an artist's residency programme organized and funded by CI. Located on Turkey's Southern Coast, BCAC provides local and international emerging artists with up to 12 months support. Works by artists who have participated in this year's residency will be exhibited at the fair.

Running alongside CI will be 'Art Istanbul' art week across the city with galleries, institutions, cultural centers. Running from the 4-10 Nov, museums, foundations and galleries will play host to a range of activities including talks, artistic performances, workshops. http://www.artistanbul.com
