Hair Fit for an Oscar-Winning Bond Girl

About Adele's colour, Lucy Holbrook comments: "During the winter months, Adele wanted to go a conker red for a change, and to suit the cooler weather. So to transform her back into a Hollywood blonde was a bit more of a challenge!  The soft creamy/golden blonde she modelled at the Oscars was created in stages: firstly, we had to use Louise Galvin's miraculous colour remover to cleanse out the remains of the darker colour. We then decided on a full head of bold movement highlights with chunky butterfly tips on the ends. To finish, and to give her hair that clear, beautiful shine, we used Daniel Galvin Detox, a vitamin C treatment which rids the hair of any impurities."

About Adele's style, Lino Carbosiero comments: "After cutting her hair short for the Grammys, Adele decided that she would like to grow her hair longer for the Oscars, so I layered her hair just to take some of the weight out of the length. This provides that natural free movement, and is much more elegant that a solid heavy shape.  I also graduated the shape around the front (not going too short) which adds a frame and stops her hair from dragging her face down. This shape is fantastic if you want to grow your hair as it is really low maintenance."
