Teleste to Showcase State-of-the-art On-board, Station and Wireless Solutions at Innotrans 2016

More than ever, the rail industry is faced with a variety of operational challenges, ranging from adapting to new technologies to meeting the growth in passenger demand for easier and safer travelling. Rail operators are expected to operate efficiently, maintain safety and service quality, and meet demanding passenger needs for timely and accurate information and attractive entertainment.
To help rail operators tackle these challenges, we have introduced Teleste Rail, a modular approach to the industry's needs. It includes a wide range of solutions for on-board, stations and wireless data transmission and offers high adoptability to operator-specific operational demands and future requirements.

Our wireless solutions are designed for rapid and reliable real-time connectivity and efficient data transmission between trains and stations as well as between moving trains. At Innotrans 2016, we will demonstrate our patent-pending technology which features 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity, superior error tolerance and excellent performance capacity for transmitting, e.g., full HD video.
We will also demonstrate how our recent innovation, , works in action. Designed for offloading data in conditions where no wireless infrastructure is available outside the vehicles, this solution allows offloading data from vehicles to the ground system with devices used by the train staff or passengers.
As improving information for passengers has high priority when delivering a satisfactory travel experience, we will bring on stage some of the most recent advances in passenger display technology that will show the way for tomorrow's information and advertising applications. These new displays include a solution for on-board and stations, for on-board and stations and a display for on-board use.
Our on-board solutions, including displays, individual products and comprehensive passenger information systems, will be presented under the Mitron brand for on-board public address, intercommunication, CCTV and entertainment. At our stand, we will present the Mitron family, for train crew and passengers,and applications for managing and controlling on-board system information.
As part of Mitron Railway Solutions, we will showcase our outstanding designed for 24/7/365 outdoor use. It features an camera with superb video performance and wide dynamic range and guarantees excellent visibility at all viewing angles and lighting conditions. Due to its TFT LCD technology and weather and vandal proof design, the pillar also offers reliable operation and low life-cycle costs.
A critical part of security issues within the rail industry are about securing people on trains and platforms and at stations. In addition, protecting operations, as well as infrastructure and information systems, is becoming increasingly important. Teleste Rail creates a future-proof security hub that allows rail operators to monitor and manage situations in real time.
