EXPOLASER 2011, the Italian appointment with laser technology

EXPOlaser 2011 is born with all the best wishes for a resumption of industrial activities. The Italian productive machine was set in motion, as confirmed by the trend of the exhibition areas booking by many companies that have already applied confirming the role of the event which will the only Italian exhibition able to offer a complete overview of manufacturing and control systems based on the use of the “laser tool”, alongside the broader proposal by type of specialized components. EXPOlaser 2011, scheduled for November 17 - 19, will fall in a strategically important historical moment for the recovery of investments in technology, especially where it has the highest potential for industrial applications. Despite the industrial landscape and the markets are changing profoundly, the role that a so universal and innovative technology as the laser may have for production processes did not change.
Anyone who daily uses laser, and at this "soft" stage is making the most of the productive investments made in the past, will again need to innovate the processes to take that path of growth stopped at the end of 2008; as well as anyone who has not yet seen at first hand the immense possibilities of the laser, will be able to do it right in Piacenza and plan new investments in the short term. Let us recall that an important feature of EXPOlaser lies in the presence of many operating systems and laser solutions at the show, as evidence of the Universal Application of the laser beam.
In previous years interested visitors, representing the most diverse uses of the laser, from metalworking to plastics, from packaging to textiles and packaging, from the gifts industry to the food industry, from restoration to glass working and Universities, have shown to appreciate the many demonstrations visible in the stands, especially with regard to the processes of cutting, welding, marking and engraving.
Just the public concerned is another important "plus" of the event organized by Piacenza Expo in collaboration with PubliTec.
Not tens of thousands of generic visitors or simply curious people, but a few thousand laser competent operators and potential users of laser technology with their applications and production problems contributing to animate and make EXPOlaser unique.
In past editions trade visitors were, in fact, nearly 7,000 in 2007 and a little less than 5,000 from all over Italy and several foreign countries such as Germany, Switzerland, France, Bulgaria, Great Britain and Slovenia. Therefore, the quality of the visitors and the products is the rewarding aspect of the Piacenza Fair that in recent years has always received the consent of the exhibitors present (two hundred marks from exhibitors and represented companies), aware and confident of having built positive and interesting working conditions.
To further establish the calling application of the event will be once again the attention given to those who offer a processing service contract with the full benefits of the laser, who in the thematic area dedicated to "Laser and Subcontracting," will have the opportunity, as direct exhibitors, to showcase the expertise and skills gained in many different sectors which they address to.
The potential for a so qualified and specialized showcase finds a valuable ally in another topic on the theme "the laser and die maker," entirely dedicated to new and technologically advanced solutions for die makers and model makers.
As is known, in fact, the world of laser has many points of contact with the mould sector: from engraving to marking, from mould repair to scanning and measuring systems, to laser sintering for rapid prototyping to conclude with the world of CAD/CAM solutions to meet the needs of both sectors.
The combination of laser technology and the mould world creates, therefore, a positive synergy to exhibitors and visitors’ advantage. The same positive synergy may be found even in the case of many laser solutions used by the industry of packaging and converting that, in the organizers’ intentions, will form a third thematic area of absolute recall and interest for a considerable part of the visitors, as shown by the case studies of the past editions.
Finally, EXPOlaser 2011 confirms its winning formula that joins the exhibition to a rich and qualified programme of conferences and workshops that makes the appointment in Piacenza a not to be missed opportunity for training and refreshning for all professionals.
The issue of the "Laser Safety" continues to be extremely topical, so one of the highlights of this year's conference programme will be dedicated to it. The topic of EXPOlaser 2011 opening conference, entitled "The laser and energy saving", in which modern laser cutting, welding and marking make a substantial contribution, is also relevant.
If all this is added to an exhibiting structure, among the few in Italy to be equipped with a central facility for the distribution of laser gases for operating systems at the show and placed in a unique geographical position, it is clear the success of EXPOlaser.
The appointment is therefore 17 to 19 November this year, when over the three days of opening it will be possible to watch closely everything that revolves round laser technology.
