The Writing's On The Wall For Bricks & Mortar Retail, Says Dark Fashion Clothing

The business owner Mike Freedman commented "High street retail is dying around the country and the writing is now truly on the wall for bricks and mortar shops. Since the credit crunch there has been a steady decline in retail and this has coincided with the growth of internet shopping. On our own high street and similarly in many town centres around the UK there are now vast numbers of empty shops.

Whereas our location on the high street once featured large chain stores and many attractive small boutiques, the remaining shops now are predominantly 99p shops, charity shops, second hand shops and pawnbrokers. This was once a thriving town centre, which also attracted a large amount of tourists, but now the street is all but empty.

Most people now prefer to shop online, for greater convenience and lower prices and we feel it is necessary to move with the times and develop our online presence, while also selling directly to the public at specialist events for our niche such as biker rallies and gothic shows."
