, 03/02/2009 (informazione.it - comunicati stampa - spettacolo) SANTA MONICA, Calif. — A cinque giorni dalla grande notte dei Grammy, la Recording Academy ha annunciato la presenza alla cerimonia dell’8 febbraio, trasmessa in diretta da Music Box, Sky 717, dalle 2.00 di notte (e in differita il 9 febbraio alle 21.00), di: Adele, Chris Brown e Sugarland.

La Recording Academy, comunica anche che Miley Cyrus e Taylor Swift si esibiranno in una speciale performance, mentre Estelle canterà in un duetto con Kanye West

Questi nomi si aggiungono a quelli già confermati nella line-up ufficiale dell’evento: U2, Radiohead, Justin Timberlake, Kenny Chesney, Coldplay, Jennifer Hudson, Jonas Brothers, Kid Rock, Lil Wayne, Paul McCartney (con la special guest Dave Grohl dei Foo Fighters), Katy Perry, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Rihanna, T.I. , Carrie Underwood, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, T.I. e Kanye West in un’altra speciale performance della sua hit single "Swagga Like Us."

Adele e T-Pain hanno ricevuto entrambi 4 nomination. Adele per le categorie: Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year (with Eg White), Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Chasing Pavements," Best New Artist. T-Pain 2 nominations per Best Rap/Sung Collaboration ("Low" with Flo Rida and "Got Money" with Lil Wayne), una per Best Rap Song ("Low" with T. Dillard and M. Humphrey), e una per Album Of The Year (as a featured artist and producer on Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III).
