Telic Technology Reaches the UK
100% American made Telic footwear launched on the 4 July, 2012 with one style in three colours and 120 participating retailers. The response was overwhelming, and in early 2013 Telic was voted "best Comfort Shoe" by the New York Times About.com
Just two years after its launch, Telic now offers four styles in 10 eye-popping colours, and is sold in over 2000 doors across the United States and is exported to 30 different countries.
The company's mission is to create affordable luxury comfort for the active lifestyle consumer who seeks to recover from their daily activities of running, hiking, cycling, training, work and everyday life. Many of Telic's features have been adapted from premium comfort and performance footwear. Telic crafts its footwear from Novalon; a proprietary body-heat activated, waterproof, feather-light material. Its pillow-soft foot-bed is designed with a slight heel rocker to off-load pressure and accentuate foot-strike management. The elasticity of Novalon provides for a secure, snug fit for a large variety of foot shapes.
Within a short period of time the brand received ample critical acclaim from the medical profession, with countless Telic advocates testifying that the footwear has been extremely helpful in reducing pain from Plantar Fasciitis and many other common foot aliments.
The Telic name stems from the Greek origin that means "purposeful" and with every pair of shoes is a "Find your purpose" wrist band which serves as an everyday reminder to live a purposeful and fulfilling life.
