Keen to know more about daily life in Iran ? Interested in reading stories written by independent female journalists, born after the 1979 revolution?

The magazine hosts stories about daily life in Iran . Themes such as addiction, women's participation in Iran's labor market,  fashion, traffic, the launch of the first Yoga class, fighting cancer with art, when Persia became Iran and much more. Some journalists based in Iran choose to write under their pseudonym for the sake of their safety. IRAN . has been enriched with magnificent pictures taken by photographers based in Iran . Visiting journalists have also shared their experiences.

What was intended as a one-off publication has captured the hearts of a wide audience, featuring stories about daily life in the country, and bringing Iranian and non-Iranian journalists together.

Mina Saadadi the editor in chief of the IRAN . who was born in Iran and lives in the Netherlands explains the success of the first edition: "The response was overwhelming. Universities used as educational material, bookstores and libraries ordered copies, travel agencies, airlines and other companies showed interest. The magazine reached Iran itself, where at least one generation had never seen such a thing. Some Iranians received it by post or by email, and offers were made to republish. Iranian tourists visiting neighbouring countries were able to get copies."

In the UK, copies will be available at WH Smith, from the second half of April. Copies can soon be purchased from branches of Barnes & Noble in the US, Canada , Australia , Belgium , Austria and The Netherlands . Also, those traveling from London to Tehran on BMI Airlines will receive a complimentary copy.
