The Hunting Art Prize Announces 2014 Jurors
Members of the jury will select the finalists and winner of the competition through a two-tiered jury process that begins in January. The 2014 jurors are:
The Hunting Art Prize, which is open to artists throughout Texas who are at least 18 years of age, is historically the most generous annual award in North America for painting and drawing.
Entries are judged through an evaluation of digital files, where jurors select individuals to move on to the second tier. Those chosen as finalists are required to deliver the physical artwork represented by the digital file, submitted during the call for entries phase of the competition, for final consideration in the selection of the winning piece.
The 2014 winner will be announced at the Hunting Art Prize gala on May 3 in Houston .
