In the same way IED - Istituto Europeo di Design has developed a rich educational offer tailored to domestic and international students keen to shape their career within the art industry.

Starting next March 2015, IED Venice will offer the first Master in Business Administration for Arts and Cultural Events course in Italy, taught entirely in English.

Students enrolling on the course , guided by a prestigious faculty composed by key opinion leaders and prestigious professionals, will receive a combination of strong theoretical background - in relation to culture and creativity - and a managerial vision - related to the field of design and cultural business start-up.

Moreover, IED has enriched its offer to meet the needs of people wanting to develop their own career as an Arts Manager - which is nowadays considered a key role within public and private institutions . With this aim in mind, IED has developed a unique path, the Master in Arts Management, a 12 month full-immersion interdisciplinary course, starting in March 2015, taught entirely in English.

The Master's degree is characterized by a unique formula which will allow students to split their study plan between the two prestigious locations of IED  Florence and IED  Rome.

IED Offers Art Master Studies in Italian Art Cities

As a result of a special collaboration with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, students will have the chance to participate in  a one-week workshop in Venice.

At the end of the Master's Course, students will be ready to work in arts and cultural companies and institutions (e.g. museums, foundations, galleries, festivals, auction houses), in the so-called cultural sectors (national and international cultural institutions, profit and nonprofit) and in areas related to contemporary art and investments in the cultural market by big companies.
