Beijing-Milan Business Cooperation Meeting Will Be Held on May 29th at Milan Chamber of Commerce

BEIJING, May 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Activities of Beijing participating in Expo Milan 2015 will be officially opened on May 29th. In order to have further communication and cooperation with Milan, the Beijing-Milan Business Cooperation Meeting will be held on May 29th at the Milan Chamber of Commerce.
The Business Cooperation Meeting will be jointly hosted by Beijing Municipal government and Milan Municipal government and held by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing) and Milan Chamber of Commerce. The Business Cooperation Meeting mainly consists of promotion activities such as Sino-Italian cooperation project signing ceremony, Sino-Italian enterprises communication and negotiation and high-end promotion of Beijing-Milan cultural creativity designing.
Over one hundred representatives of enterprises from Beijing in urban agriculture, cultural innovation, modern media, fashion design, modern logistics, science and technology, economy and trade and relevant industries will attend the Business Cooperation Meeting. Participants of the Business Cooperation Meeting will also visit the government office, chamber of commerce and enterprises in Lombardy. In addition, representatives of enterprises from Beijing will visit the agricultural park in Parma.
As of now, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing) has signed the cooperation agreement with Milan Chamber of Commerce, Modena Chamber of Commerce, Rome Chamber of Commerce and other five chambers of commerce in Italy.
By 2014, there is a total of 324 Italian enterprises investment in Beijing, with $230 million of contractual foreign investment which $120 million has been actually used. Italian investment in Beijing mainly involves manufacturing, wholesale and retail, leasing and business services, etc. Beijing-Milan Business Cooperation Meeting will help China and Italy further develop bilateral economic and trade communication and cooperation.
