UPM Annual Report 2017 published

UPM's Annual Report 2017 has been published online at www.upm.com and www.upm.fi. The Annual Report including the company's Financial Statements and the Report of the Board of Directors for the period 1 January - 31 December 2017 is available in English and Finnish as a PDF file on the corporate website.

UPM has also published its Corporate Governance Statement 2017 and the Remuneration Statement dated 28 February 2018 on the corporate website in the Investors section under Governance (www.upm.com/governance). The statements can be downloaded as PDF files in English and Finnish. The Annual Report and the statements are also attached to this release.

UPM's Annual Report illustrates essential matters influencing UPM's long-term success. All material information has been integrated into this one, third-party assured entirety and no separate responsibility report is published. For the first time, the Report of the Board of Directors includes a comprehensive non-financial statement indicating UPM's progress in its material responsibility targets. In the 2017 Annual Report, UPM highlights the results of the company's transformation and reports how UPM creates economic, social and environmental value from its operations.
